Pearl E. Mills Robinson, 92, of Manassas, formerly of Front Royal, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015, in Manassas Health and Rehab Center.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Herb Taylor. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Robinson was born on June 21, 1923, in Warren County, daughter of the late Luther Mills and Tillie Wagner Mills.

She worked for many years for Peebles Department Store in Front Royal.

Surviving are three daughters Iona “Stinky” Boyd of Spotsylvania, Mary Moore of Manassas, and Shirley Hurdle of New Castle, Maine; two sisters Iona Barbe of Front Royal and Goldie Weatherholtz of Inwood, WV; one brother Norman Mills of Florida; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband Carter Rayburn Robinson, Sr. and a son Carter Rayburn Robinson, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Cal Hurdle, Frank Moore, Sonny Boyd, Mike Hurdle, Steve Hurdle, Kenny Boyd, Eddie Moore, and Brian Robinson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
