Peggy L. De Yarmin, 75, of Centreville, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20 at 12:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Casper officiating. Interment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.
Peggy was born August 1, 1948 in Creekside, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Cebert Chalmer and Alma Winifred Bair DeYarmin.
She retired after 20 plus years from the Department of Motor Vehicles as a Testing Administrator.
Surviving are three sons, John Clark Brotherton of Front Royal, Jack N. Brotherton of Red House, Virginia, and Justin Matthew Brotherton of Manassas; two brothers, Tim and Alan; four sisters, Cathy, Alma, Cindy, and Donna; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Rayland Brotherton, II; and two sisters, Betty Kay Purinton and Winna “Joann” Cullen.
Pallbearers will be John Brotherton, Justin Brotherton, Sebastian Raeber, Jacob DeYarmin, Rick Cox, Ronnie Ours, Alan DeYarmin, and Tim DeYarmin.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
There will be a time of food and fellowship immediately following the graveside service on Tuesday at Skyline Ranch Resort, 751 Mountain Road, Front Royal.
