So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing, he was a fine neighbor and friend. We shared plenty of history having grown up in the same neighborhood in Arlington. Karen and I send our deepest sympathy.

    To The Tuthill Family:

On behalf of the FCPD we send our sincere and deepest condolences for the loss of our Brother in Blue, Bob. It just seems appropriate that we will celebrate Bob’s life and legacy during National Police Week 2022; as we celebrate the sacrifice and service of all Police Officers throughout our great nation.

I was fortunate to have received a call from Bob before I started with the FCPD in 2007 ~ as he wanted to give me some sage advice and an understanding of the Falls Church way. We met for lunch in Winchester and he graciously guided my path, I was most appreciative.

We (FCPD) will behold Bob’s legendary service as a foundation of strength that keeps the FCPD proud, strong, and honorable.

Godspeed faithful servant ~ your memories are a blessing.

Beth: I take it you signed Carol’s message, how is she doing? Please tell her I think of her often and our long time friendship. There are so few of the city people left anymore.

Thank you both for your remarks, we appreciate it. The service (2) was very nice and well attended. He would loved knowing so many people remembered him.

Though God’s help we will be o.k.

      Marge, Pam & Bob Jr.

I’m so sorry to hear of Bobby’s passing. When I was a young fellow working at dad’s station, once in a while Bobby would roll onto the lot in his FCPD cruiser. I always thought, “that’s so cool!” I pray for God’s peace for all his family.
