Ronald Wayne Montgomery, 68, of Linden, Virginia passed away on September 15, 2026 in the comfort of his home.

Funeral services will be private.

Ron was born on December 11, 1957 in Buckhannon, West Virginia, to the late David Lajoy Montgomery and Helen Gaynelle Milliron McKinney.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Williams Montgomery.

He is survived by his sisters, Pamela K. Montgomery of Bristol, Virginia, and Stephanie D. Gallo (Tom) of Linden, Virginia; his brother, David Montgomery Jr. (Sherri) of Hampton Roads, Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ron was a kind soul with a wandering spirit, making many friends on his journey through life. He enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to classic country music, and watching western movies and tv shows (especially Gunsmoke).

Ron loved and was loved by his family. Words cannot express our sorrow. He will be deeply missed.
