Sandra “Sandy” L. Starr, 76, of Winchester, Virginia passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Warrenton United Methodist Church and at Arlington National Cemetery.
Mrs. Starr was born on January 20, 1942 in Martinsburg, West Virginia to the late Donald Smith and Rose Winland Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry P. Starr and two brothers, Allen Smith and Harold Starliper.
She was a long time pre-school teacher at Sterling United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Chris Starr; daughter, Laura De Vera; brother, Kenneth Garrison; two grandchildren, Bradley and Caroline and numerous nieces and nephews.

Aunt Sandy, you are now in the presence of God. Deepest sympathy to all the family left here, Laura and Chris, all the grandchildren, and the church family. We will see you in the Sweet By and By.
