I am so sorry to learn of Sheriff Armentrout’s passing. He and my father, the late Paul Hockman, were very good friends and in fact, Dad encouraged Sheriff Armentrout to run for the office. He was an even-keeled and kind person who led by example and contributed so much to many organizations in Front Royal and Warren County. I wish that I could have introduced our son to him as he is a Deputy Sheriff in Chesterfield County. May the Peace of Jesus be with his family.
He was a great man, a true American hero. Look at our Sheriffs dept now and look back to Lynn’s time: no comparison. In any case, may God the most High, grant patience for the family during this most difficult times. We are all mourning. Mourning for his presence
