Stephen Anthony Knerler, Sr., 36, of Front Royal, died suddenly on Saturday March 4, 2017 in Prince William County.

A funeral service will be held on Friday March 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Sammy Campbell. Interment will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Stephen was born on October 22, 1980 in Bossier City, LA, son of Rusty Barton and Beverly A. Knerler Flowers. He worked for Home Depot for 12 years as a Department Supervisor.

Surviving are his wife Chasity N. Knerler; one daughter Keira N. Knerler of Front Royal; four sons Stephen A. Knerler, Jr. and Alexander J. Warring both of Annapolis, MD, Conner D. Knerler and Chase N. Knerler both of Front Royal; mother Beverly A. Knerler and step-father Jeff Flowers of Kennewick, WA; father and step-mother Rusty and Darla Barton of Yukon, Ok; step-father Joel Rogers and wife Mary Kay Rogers of Richland, WA; maternal grandparents Janis and Robert Knerler of Orange; paternal grandparents Bob and Angie Cunningham of Yukon, OK; two brothers Jason Flowers of Kennewick, WA and Joe Barton of Yukon, OK; three sisters Athanesie Musson, Joann Forrest, and Christine Gant all of Kennewick, WA; step-brother Joseph Rogers of Richland, WA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Stephen was preceded in death by a cousin Dylan Michael Knerler-Ward.

Pallbearers will be family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 9 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
