Steven Courtney Bell, 69, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center.
A memorial service will take place at 11 A.M. on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Limeton Community Church at 9 Limeton Church Road, Bentonville, Virginia 22610 with Lorne Fyfe or Tancy Seal officiating. Following the service his interment will take place at Quantico National Cemetery.
Steven was born on February 4, 1956 in Front Royal, Virginia to the late James Courtney and Charlotte Hayse Bell.
Surviving Steven are his sister, Carolyn Bell of Front Royal; and numerous cousins and extended family members.
Steven graduated from Warren County High School in 1974 and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1975 until 1979. After his time serving his country, he attended Germanna Community College and graduated in 1985 with an associates degree in automotive technology.
Steven worked as a mechanic and assistant service manager at the Ford Dealership in Front Royal for many years. He also worked in the parts department at Woodstock Garage and Car Quest Distribution (now Advanced Auto). He was also a member of Limeton Community Church, and he was a huge train enthusiast. He enjoyed model railroading, and going on train excursions.
