Sue Ann Carlson, 58, of Strasburg, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015, in her
home.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral
Home.

Ms. Carlson was born March 23, 1957, in Keyser, WV, daughter of the late James
Herbert Spiker and Ella Mae Kyle Spiker Mixon. She was a Certified Nursing
Assistant for ten years and was employed by Amerisist Assisted Living of Front
Royal for much of that time.

Surviving are two sons Clinton “C.J.” Wade Carlson, Jr. of Strasburg and Jarod
Nathaniel Carlson of Strasburg; two brothers William “Bill” Spiker of Milton, FL
and his wife Charlotte and James “Jim” Spiker of Keyser, WV and his wife Deborah
Jackson Spiker; a sister Shirley McCarty of Westernport, MD and her husband
Patrick; two close friends Jennifer Lynn Combs of Strasburg and Angel Peacoe of
Front Royal; and her husband Clinton “Clint” Wade Carlson, Sr.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the
funeral home.

Ms. Carlson was a dedicated worker. She loved her job and she loved her family.
