Thomas Henry “Tommy” Showers, Jr., 72,  of Front Royal, VA passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at his home.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, at 2:00 p.m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery conducted by Sammy Campbell.

Mr. Showers was born July 1, 1942 in Linden, Virginia son Thomas Henry Showers, Sr. and Stella Mauck Showers.  He was married to the late Ann Vaught Showers.

Surviving are one daughter Teresa Hupman and her husband Butch of Front Royal; one son Dewayne Showers of Front Royal; two sisters Evelyn Ricci and Eleanor Chadwell both of Front Royal; one brother Steve Showers of Linden, VA; “Papps” had three grandchildren Justin Showers and Kristin Showers (and their mother Pam Showers), and Shane Hupman and his fiancée Jessica Foster; two great-grandchildren Aubrey Hupman and Skyla Zimbro; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He had a life-long career with Rappawan, Inc. in Front Royal where he held numerous positions, the most recent being shop foreman.
