William P. Supples, Sr., 71, of Front Royal, VA, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Rev. Jerome Fasano will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Front Royal on Tuesday, April 5, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Quantico National Cemetery with military honors on Wednesday, April 6, at 10:00 a.m.
William was born August 30, 1944, in Buffalo, NY, son of the late Thomas Vincent Supples and Lela Barnes Supples. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Viet Nam War. Following his military service, he joined the U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division and retired 30 years later as a Sergeant. Mr. Supples was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy; eight children – Sarah, Christian, Gregory, Sean, Anna Katharine, William Jr., Matthew, and Brian; three sisters – MaryLee, Sheila and Patricia; one brother, Thomas; 25 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, from7-9 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal.
