Frederick Nigel “Nic” Lewis, 63, of Washington DC passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026 at his home.
A memorial service will take place at 11 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia 22630. The family invites guests to visit one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Lewis was born on August 27, 1962 in Dumfries, Virginia to the late Frederick Lewis and the late Peggy Brooks Porter.
Survivors include his two brothers, Jeffrey Lewis of Lowell, Massachusetts and George Porter of Warrenton, Virginia; sister, Kimberly Lewis of Alexandria, Virginia and numerous extended family members and friends.
Following the service at the funeral home there will be a repast at Front Royal Volunteer Fire Department, 221 North Commerce Avenue, Front Royal.
Coach Moose and Mrs.Moose send our deepest sympathy to all his family He was on Coach’s 1981 basketball team at Warren County High School . Never to be forgotten . May he rest in peace. Some people may have had one or 2 sons , Coach has had over 200. Nic was one of them .
