Delbert Gibson Flynn, 58, of Front Royal passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Maddox Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Flynn was born September 26, 1957, in Middleburg, Virginia, son of Grace Thompson Flynn of Florida and the late Delbert Flynn, Sr. He was a carpenter and a U. S. Marine Corps. veteran.

Surviving are his wife Wanda Flynn; four children April Moore of Strasburg, Delbert G. “Skeeter” Flynn, Jr. of Front Royal, Heather McDonald of Front Royal, and Christopher Dwayne Flynn of Front Royal; and fifteen grandchildren including Nichole and Turner Moore whom he and his wife raised.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W. Main St., Front Royal, VA 22630 for Mr. Flynn’s services.
