Howard Douglas “Robby” Robinson, Jr., 47, of Hagerstown, Maryland died Sunday, November 1, 2015, in the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Sammy Campbell. Interment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Robinson was born March 11, 1968, in Front Royal, Virginia, son of Brenda Garber Ratlief of Winchester and her husband Gary and Howard D. Robinson, Sr. of Canada and his wife Joyce.

Robby loved horseback riding and landscaping. He was an avid Sci-Fi fan and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Most of all he loved his family and family gatherings.

Surviving with his parents are his step-father Gary Ratlief; his partner Jason Ridge of Hagerstown, Maryland; two sisters Melissa Eskridge of Linden and her husband Neil and Betsy Taylor of Luray and her husband Josh; three brothers Laney “Randy” Runion of Strasburg, Timothy Runion of Luray, and Joseph Runion of Luray; a sister-in-law Mandy Memolo of North Carolina; five nieces, six nephews, one great-niece, one great-nephew, aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Frank and Betsy Garber and a sister Angela Robinson.

Pallbearers will be Joshua “Adam” Taylor, Joseph Beaty, David Beaty, Melissa Eskridge, Neil Eskridge, Timothy Runion, Betsy Taylor, and Noah Taylor.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
