Emily M. Easley

Emily M. Easley passed away on August 7, 2025, after a long courageous eight-year battle with cancer, which she fought until the last moment.

She was born September 9, 1970 in Winchester, Virginia to Ken and Carolyn Grove.

Emily attended school in Camden, Arkansas and Warren County.

She returned home, married and had a son, Wade who was born in 1987.

Emily worked for years for the old F&M Bank in Front Royal and later for Gilliam Lumber Company.

Surviving with her parents are two brothers, Bill (Terrie) and Ernie (Terra); special partner in life, Dave Kemp; a large core of family and friends, who were always by her side to offer help and encouragement; one friend, David Marlow who has known and stayed in touch with Emily and her family for many years.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Grove.

Arrangements are incomplete. A Celebration of Life service is planned for a later date.

Sweet Emily, I am so sorry you are gone from this earth. You were one of the best people I knew, from first meeting you at the old F & M (Front Royal) office. I remember all our good times. Our trip to the Bahamas and two trips to Dominican Republic (one with Kevin). God take care of you, Wade and your family. Love you. ❤️🙏🏻🌹🙏🏻

I am so very sorry to hear about Emily. I had just been over to see her 2 days before, and you know how she talked, and talked, and talked. I genuinely loved her and thought of her as a good friend. She is truly going to be missed by all that knew her.
