Pearl Leigh Baltimore, age 71, of Front Royal, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2016, in the Winchester Medical Center.
A Homegoing service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Alfred Woods. Interment will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Front Royal.
Pearl was born in Front Royal on April 17, 1945, daughter of the late Randolph and Virginia Brooks Baltimore. She worked many years as a cafeteria aide, office worker, and other titles for the Fairfax County Public School System.
Later in life she also worked providing home health care for the elderly, and was a member of the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.
Pearl is survived by three daughters Sharon Guirand of Front Royal, VA, Christine Tigney of Culpeper, VA and Rosland Waller of Broadway, VA; three sisters Rebecca Gilmore of Front Royal, VA, Ida Lee Baltimore of Front Royal, VA, and Isabelle Olivera of Annandale, VA; ten grandchildren Rosetta, Sheri, Christina, Anthony, Dessie, Charles, Roshanne, Gilbert, Duane, and Jeanette; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
