Helen Virginia Gray, 86, of Sperryville, VA, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at her home.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Rev. John Burke. Burial will follow in WashingtonMasonic Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gray was born June 21, 1928 in Washington, VA, daughter of James Albert Fincham and Emily Frances Jenkins Fincham. She was a member of GidBrown Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Walter Gray.

Surviving are one daughter Mary McFarland of Sperryville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Jerry Gray; and a daughter Frances Gray.
