Very sorry to hear this. One of my favorite Bosses ever. Worked for him in VQ-2 and VR-22. I didn’t realize he was 80?
My deepest condolences!
Sad to hear of Master Chiefs passing. I worked for him at VQ2 Rota Spain. He was one of my favorite “Sea daddy’s”..he taught me so much about doing things RIGHT and having pride in my work. We worked hard and played hard ..and you’d better have figured out when it was appropriate to do either! Many prayers going up for his family! He was a legend ❤️
So sorry to hear of Nick’s passing. Prayers to the entire family and so thankful to have served with Nick. He was truly one of the best. Rest easy shipmate.
A great mentor of mine, may he rest in peace..
I lost my beloved Cousin Nick…I was 10yr older than him, but would watch him when I was 12 and he was 2…unfortunately distance kept us from seeing each other…RIP NIck…🙏🏻💙👏🏻💙🙏🏻💙
So sad to learn of his passing. I knew him when he was in VQ-2 and later when we sat across from each other in Maintenance Control in
VR-22.
God Bless him and his family.
May he rest in peace.🙏🏼🫡🇺🇸
Fair winds and following seas shipmate.
Nick was more than a colleague—he was like a brother to me. In the years I served as Pastor in two parishes in the Archdiocese of Washington, his presence was a quiet but constant grace. I leaned on him not only for counsel, but for strength, wisdom, and perspective. He supported me in ways both seen and unseen, and I truly believe that the vitality those communities came to embody was shaped in large part by his faithful partnership. I could not have done it without him. He was my most trusted adviser, someone upon whom I relied deeply in both personal and professional matters.
My deepest sympathy to the entire Bucci family. I knew Nick when I worked at the Naval Air Station in Brunswick with his wife, Donna. Such a kind man who certainly loved his children and wife. Rest in peace.
Heaven got a good one…. I was stationed with Master Chief Bucci in VQ-2 Maintenance Control. He was always the epitome of the man large and in charge, as well as giving the opportunity of being very approachable! Great mentor. Prayers to his family. God Bless.
I am so sorry to hear about Master Chief’s passing. I served with him in VQ-2. He was one of my favorite Chiefs. I loved hearing stories of his life. Sending prayers for the Bucci family. Rest in peace Master Chief. 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲
