Bettie Jane Ralls, 79, of Bentonville, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, with burial to follow at Bentonville Cemetery.

Mrs. Ralls was born August 4, 1936 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Matt Boyd Watson and Gertrude Wallace Watson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Ralls, Sr., her son, Clarence Ralls and her sister, Mary Elizabeth McCall.

Survivors include her son, James William “Jimmy” Ralls, Jr.; two daughters, Terri Ratigan (Edward Ratigan, III) of Stephens City, Virginia and Kathy Ralls of Front Royal, Virginia; her sister, Thalia Campbell of Utah; three grandchildren, Richard Allen Ralls, Crystal Lee Cook and Holli Amelia Cook; one step granddaughter, Amanda Lee Jones; four great grandchildren, Emma Leigh Ralls, Hannah Grace Ralls, Elijah Wayne Walker and Jett Lee Walker; three step great granddaughters, Nakira Coleman, Alana Coleman and Tatianna Jones. She is also survived by one aunt, Jenny Domm.

Pallbearers will be Richard Ralls, Jackie Ralls, Edward Ratigan, Billy Crabtree, Ron Huff and Josh Walker.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.

A reception will follow at the VFW pavilion and anyone wishing to bring food can bring it directly to the pavilion.
