Carolyn Huff Kinsey, 62, of Front Royal, passed away suddenly in Franklin, West Virginia on Monday, August 8, 2016.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 12, at 10:30 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, conducted by Sammy Campbell. Interment will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Kinsey was born on October 16, 1953, in Front Royal daughter of the late Frank Brown Huff and Catherine Mamie Lillard Huff. She graduated from the Rappahannock County High School, was employed with the White Post Correctional Facility for many years.

Surviving are her devoted husband Richard Kinsey; three sons Keith Kinsey and wife Theresa of Midland, Kevin Kinsey and fiancée Katie of Stephens City, and Scott Kinsey of Front Royal; one brother Frank Huff and wife Sherry of Flint Hill; one sister Connie Harris of Flint Hill; three grandchildren Logan Lockhart, Evan Kinsey, and Braiden Kinsey.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

There will be a time of food and fellowship following the service on Friday, at the Giles B. Cook Post 53 of the American Legion in Front Royal.
