Buddy was born on May 1, 1945 in Washington D.C. to the late Clement William Becker Sr. and Helen Louise Studds Becker. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Evans.
Surviving Buddy is his loving wife of 56 years, Ann Becker; his children, Clement Becker III and his wife Kim, and Leah Kent (Becker) and her husband David; his “adopted” daughter, Tammy Wilson; his brother, David Becker; his grandchildren, Elysa Baker, Ewan Becker, Alec Becker, and Benjamin Becker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Buddy served our country in the United States Navy for two terms during Vietnam. He loved his family, old sports cars, and all animals. Buddy was a huge prankster and enjoyed pulling pranks, especially on his daughter Leah on April Fool’s Day. His favorite holiday was July 4th and every year for 30 years he would throw large parties on the 4th.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Warren County at 1245 Progress Dr. Front Royal, Virginia 22630 or to your local ASPCA

Sadly, I read the news of Buddy, which is the only Name I knew him as kids. I first met him in spring of 1952 we were both about to turn 7 years old., We discovered our birthdays were in the same month (may) and the same year (1945) He was on the 1 day of may and mine was on the 30 Day of May, we both had very blond hair
and blue eyes so we were often mistaken for each other. We spent a lot of time roaming all over fort Myer, and Arlington Cemetery, we both liked Military stuff. We played war games mostly, and on occasion his cousins Buch and Jonny would join in. Those were the days before computers when kids played outside from morning till 5 o’clock when fort Myer would fire the cannon for retreat and lower the flag. I remember
if we on fort Myer at the time of retreat we would stop and face cannon hill with our hands over our hearts and wait for the bugle call to end. WE both took this very seriously for we knew this was an honor. we were raised from the world war generation. The stories I have are in the thousands, I last saw Buddy in 1960, he was into racing. He grew over 6 ft i was only 5 ft 9. He moved from !2th say street Arlington as did I also .So say in closing. “See you on Cannon Hill when my Day comes God Love and Honor”
