Curtis “Curt” Shaw, 51, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Warren Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal.

Curt was born on November 11, 1965 in Illinois. He was a Navy Veteran and currently worked for the Federal Aviation Administration. He was known for his contribution and dedication to the local music community.

Survivors include his wife, Jodi Shaw; father, Edmund Shaw (Gerie); mother, Shirley Withrow Cook; maternal grandmother, Mary Mezo; five sisters, Philina Weddington (Mark), Tina Ahlersmeyer (Bill), Amy Turek (Geno), Lyn Voth (Thomas) and Cari Shaw; nephews and nieces, Jason, Justin, Chelcie, Meghan, Kati, Josh, Billy, Cassie, Emma and Alex.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM.
