John Kevin “Jammer” Jones, 54, of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.

John was born December 3, 1962 in Front Royal, VA son of the late Robert A. and E. Lucy Ryman Jones. John was a graduate of Warren County High School Class of 1981. He was a member of IBEW Local 26 for over 30 years. John was an avid hunter and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by the love of his life Karen Moore and her family, Amanda Moore, Russell Partlowe and their precious grandbabies Ryder and Hayden; brothers Jeff Jones of Mechanicsville, VA, and Greg Jones of Front Royal, VA; his sister Leslie McMillan and her husband John of Nokesville, VA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
