I am so sorry for your loss because it also means the loss of one of my father’s oldest friends and probably his best friend. They did a lot of traveling together. I will always remember meeting them when I lived in North Carolina at the Biltmore where we spent the day touring. It was also discovered by me at my father’s 90th birthday celebration two years ago by me that Red’s youngest brother Ray was in my high school class. “Red” did a beautiful tribute to my father for that celebration. It is a small world. “Red” will be missed.
Gloria Nichols Clark
My dad and Red were in the National Guard together.
Sorry for your loss.
