Thelma “Jane” Mae Jeffries, 85, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Warren Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Rev. Arnold “Wendei” Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Jeffries was born on April 10, 1933 in Rappahannock County, Virginia to the late Lloyd and Ethel Pullen. She was also preceded in death by five siblings.
Granny, as her family called her, was an avid bowler.
Survivors include her two sons, Timothy Jeffries (Ellen) of Stephens City, Virginia and Kevin Jeffries of Front Royal; daughter, Beverly J. Cornwell of Front Royal; brother, Cecil Pullen of Flint Hill, Virginia; two sisters, Shelby Welch of Flint Hill and Kathleen Nicholson of Front Royal; four grandchildren, Danielle, Priscilla, Timothy Jr. and Christian; four great grandchildren; one great great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
