Gladys Marie McDonald, 96, of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, June 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery conducted by Sammy Campbell. The family will be at the cemetery at 1:00 p.m. to greet friends and relatives.

Mrs. McDonald was born June 9, 1918 in Linden, VA, daughter of Richard Kenney and Luella Mae Grim Kenney. She owned and operated McDonald’s Frozen Treats in Sperryville for many years. She was the wife of the late James McDonald.

Surviving are nieces Diane Dellinger of Strasburg, Sandy Kenney of Berryville, and Lynnie Sager of Stephens City; and several other nephews and nieces. She was the last surviving sibling of twelve brothers and sisters.
