Matthew James Shak, 29, of Strasburg passed away on Saturday, May 30, in Strasburg.

A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Willis Chapel Cemetery in Huntly conducted by Pastor Jimmy Pittman. The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.

Mr. Shak was born September 16, 1985, in Staten Island, New York, son of Pamela Jo Williams Shak and the late Steven Roy Shak.

Surviving with his mother are his children Ella Marie Shak, James Bladen Shak, and Carsyn Audri Shak and two sisters Patricia Shak and Stacy Shak.
