Gloria Lynn Williams Bear, 73, of Manassas, passed away peacefully in Loving Arms Assisted Living.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Jones. Interment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick.

Gloria was born on March 1, 1941 in Warren County, daughter of the late J. Sandy Williams and Rena Virginia Jenkins Williams. She retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She was a member of the Front Royal Women of the Moose Lodge 1194. Gloria was married to the late Douglas Wayne Bear. She was preceded in death along with her parents and husband by one sister Joyce Elaine Fritts and one brother James Bernard Williams.

Surviving are one daughter Christine Gillette and husband Brian of Manassas; two sisters Peggy Walk and husband Fred of Winchester and Loretta Burnette and husband Jay of White Post; three grandchildren Robert Gillette, Abigail Gillette, and Samantha Gillette.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 18, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
