Susan Chase Williams, 54 of Warren County, VA died on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Warren Memorial Hospital.

Susan was born on March 18, 1960 in Norfolk, VA. She was the daughter of the late

Capt. William John Coleman and Joyce Ahlers Granum of Edgewater, MD.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in 1981, and since

had worked as a school teacher, horseback riding instructor, chef, and restaurant owner.

Surviving are her four children: Devon Tackels of Oakland, CA, Dakota Tackels, Hunter Porter,

and Chance Coleman all of Front Royal; and one brother William Mark Coleman of Northern VA.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home

to celebrate her life.
