Ida Virginia Dehner, 99, of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the Commonwealth Assisted Living, where she had been a resident for seven years.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28, at 10: 00 a.m. at Front Royal United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Alan Combs. Inurnment will be held at Prospect Hill Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
Mrs. Dehner was born January 1, 1917 in Rappahannock County daughter of James Brady and Mildred Ann Darnell Brady. She retired as the owner and operator of Royal Palace Cleaners. Mrs. Dehner was a longtime member of Front Royal United Methodist Church and the Sara’s Circle.
Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded by her first husband George Sloat and second husband Grover “Bud” Dehner; and eight brothers and sisters Clarence Brady, Betsy Robinson, Lucy Ramey, Sam Brady, Ruben Brady, Mae Eckert, Louise Licklider, and Madolyn Keiter.
