Janet R. Titus, 88, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Heritage Hall, Front Royal.
Services will be private.
Mrs. Titus was born on March 8, 1936 in Jefferson, Maryland to the late John Robert and Margaret Harwood Shipe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George G. Titus; daughter, Roberta Runyon; two sisters, Marylee Knisley and Edna Josephine Ogg and brother, Douglas Shipe.
Survivors include her son, George Titus; daughter, Mary Titus; sister, Virginia Ann Cohagan; two grandsons, Richard Runyon Jr. and Brett Allen Miller and great granddaughter, Aurora Titus Runyon.
I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Janet and am so sorry for your loss. Even though we didnt see much of the family after we moved away when I was 10, I was able to reconnect and bring my mother, Marylee to visit her a few times while she stayed with me towards the end of her life. My mom always enjoyed seeing her sister and told me Janet was her favorite, that she “loved that kid.”
RIP Aunt Janet and I am sure Uncle George greeted you with that wonderful laugh when you reunited.
