Jeanie was a member of Colchester Free Will Baptist Church From 1965 until 2001 when she moved to Front Royal. She then became a member of Dynamic Life Praise and Worship Center. She was very devoted to her faith and was a living testament of strength and perseverance, having triumphed over cancer 40 years prior. Jeanie graduated from the first ever class of Stonewall Jackson Highschool in Manassas, Virginia.

Jeanie was a skilled crafter and painter. She thoroughly enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and friends, and was her husband’s lifelong fishing partner. She would always ask him to take the fish off of her line, because she was usually the first to catch one. They enjoyed taking road trips and was famous for going on long drives, where they weren’t afraid of “getting lost”, while finding new routes to travel. She also loved the beach, and loved visiting the Outer Banks with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was devoted to her family and was their biggest cheerleader. You would find her at every event supporting them. She was always happy to help, always giving more than she ever asked for in return. Her and her beloved husband hosted their annual family reunion for 20 years, where everyone was welcomed at their home.

Jeanie’s life was full of humility, love, generosity and faith. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy lives on in the family she so dearly loved.
