Linda Gayle Corder, 66, of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at her home.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 11, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Douglas Lowell. Burial will follow in Flint Hill Cemetery.

Linda Corder, affectionately known as “Giggles” was born May 30, 1949 in Front Royal, VA, daughter of the late Lloyd Franklin Pullen and Ethel Mae Waters Pullen. She retired as a secretary from VDOT.

Surviving are her children Lisa Alther Shipe and her husband Charles of Front Royal, William Braden “Brad” Alther of Front Royal, and Karen Corder Peddle and her husband Michael of Middletown, VA; three sisters Kathleen Nicholson and Thelma Jeffries both of Front Royal, and Shelby Welch of Flint Hill, VA; one brother Cecil Pullen of Flint Hill; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Lynwood Pullen of Norfolk; and three sisters Annabelle Sadowski of Norfolk, Lucille Settle of Manassas, and Deborah Wimmer of Front Royal.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
