Mrs. Lorraine Hutcherson, a long time resident of the Washington, DC area, died Monday the 11th of January 2016. Born in 1926 to Benjamin and Lillian Deboe, Lorraine became a well known tap dancer and performed throughout the DC metropolitan area in the late 40’s through the early 60’s. She performed on several USO tours. Her best friends were Margie David, who was also a well known tap dancer, and Henry David. Lorraine attended Catholic parochial school and was an accomplished piano and organ player and Washington Redskins fan. Lorraine was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter Hutcherson, her mother Lillian and her mother-in-law Elsie Hutcherson. She will be remembered for her love-of-life, humor and kindness and will be sorely missed by her many friends and loved ones. Lorraine will be buried at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD and funeral services will be private.
