Louise V. Foster, 82, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 2 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia with Sammy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Louise was born on May 5, 1936 in Timberville, Virginia to the late John and Florence Derrow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George H. Foster and four children, Donna, Janet, Sandra and Harold.
She retired from the Aileen Sewing factory in Flint Hill, Virginia. The remaining years of her life were spent in a nursing home due to crippling arthritis. She was a joy to be around and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her son, John Foster (Mary) of Front Royal; four daughters, Virgie Foster (Don) of Front Royal, Beverly Walter (Ronnie) of Chester Gap, Virginia, Gertrude Foster of Chester Gap and Barbara Mallory (Steve) of Castleton, Virginia; 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons, Ronald Lee Walter, Christopher Bright, Kenneth Pickel, Matthew Pullen, Hunter Baker and Dillion Berry.
