Norman F. “Butchie” Kerns, 22, of Bristow and formerly of Front Royal, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, in the Warren Memorial Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 17, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.

Butchie was born on July 30, 1993 in Front Royal, son of Michelle Lynn Willis of Front Royal and the late Norman F. “Butch” Kerns, Jr.

Surviving with his mother are his wife Brandace Kerns; two sisters Bianca Nichole Owens of Strasburg and Destiny Dawn Kerns of Front Royal; one brother Justin Blaine Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; two step-children Natalie Oakes and Delylah McFarland both at home; paternal grandfather Norman F. Kerns, Sr. of Cross Junction; and maternal grandparents Shirley and Gus Willis, Sr. of Front Royal.
