Robert (Robbie) C. Williams, Jr.

Robert (Robbie) C. Williams, Jr. passed away Saturday morning February 6, 2021 at Capital Caring in Aldie, VA after a long illness.

Born December 19, 1980 in Fairfax, VA. Robbie graduated from Warren County High School and attended Lord Fairfax Community College. In August 2001 Robbie joined the United States Coast Guard. He loved the Caribbean route, he was assigned to the Legare and quite often could not believe he was paid riding the high sea’s stopping at the different islands.

During his military stay he earned an “E” Ribbon, Bronze Star, Sea Service Ribbon and The Coast Guard Pistol Marksman Ribbon.

Robbie’s life was never short on excitement. He was an adventurer, pirate, and gambler. He had the gift of life and had to give it back. Robbie loved his parents, his two boys, Connor and Cassius. He celebrated those boys. The friendships he made were immense. It was his smile, his warm soul, his acts of kindness. Robbie expressed that often, he truly loved them, particularly Thane Aaron Wahl, as Robbie said the night before he passed, and Tina Taylor, his personal nurse, by choice, he listened to as she encouraged him. Just knowing and loving his boys and his friends was the success story of his life.

Robbie was private in many ways being an only child. Growing up his room was personal to him but Matt Laub would always push that to the limit, but on snow days Robbie would be the first one up to Matt’s house to eat the food Yogi would prepare. 12 pancakes one time.

Robbie is survived by his boys, Connor and Cassius, whom he will always love. His mom and dad, Vicki and Bob. His Aunt Becky, “Who always saved my mom’s day”, and Rose M. James, his beloved Grandmother. His friends who made his life a memory for them, which he hopes your hearts will be full and continue on. Robbie’s favorite quote “The Inches we need are all around us, because that is where the Living is”, from Any Given Sunday.

The family will receive friends at Maddox Funeral Home between 2-3pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Services to follow thereafter.

Robbie was a kind soul that is for sure. I have so many memories with him growing up in front Royal but, one of my favorite ones is working at Food Lion… He would bag my groceries. He taught me a secret language that he shared with his closest friends.. we called it “gibberish“ and we would talk about this lady that would come through our line in gibberish because she was totally orange because she ate so many carrots… That’s all she would buy! Robbie would have me laughing so hard I would cry! Robbie will be missed ♥️

    We love you Robbie.
Daddy, Mommy, Cara, myself and especially Matt will NEVER forget you, or all the memories you left with us.
Life sent you and Matt in different directions, but you were always his partner in crime, his right hand man, his brother.
You may not have talked everyday but I promise you, he loves you and you will leave a huge hole in his world and ours.
You were a second brother to me, even after I was grown; always checking in on me, giving me huge bear hugs when you saw me, threatening to beat up any bad boyfriends.
I will never forget the late nights at our house, asking me to make you a sandwich.
Or, all the mornings, talking around the table while Daddy made pancakes; you always ate like 12.
I will always remember your laugh and your ability to make others laugh. I’ll miss that. I’ll miss you.
I will never be able to understand why life gives some of the best people the most shitty hand of cards.
You were a fighter, but you were tired; now it’s time to rest.
Until we meet again, Rob. 🖤
    Love always, Dana

Really Dana….you just mad me cry. You know a million times over how much he loved ALL of you..
In August those trips to Maine he love those times at La Loon….him and Matt at those clubs in DC….and those nights he would raid your refrigerator and hear Rose hollar…..
All of those times made me smile…
Those back yard parties Yogi had…..the beer bong….
      I should have never blinked….❤❤

When I think of Robbie, my mind always sees him walking down an aisle with his arms spread wide that grin on his face ready to give you a hug. He never missed you, he always had time to stop, talk and catch up. He had a mind that was always busy taking things in. He will be missed by many.

J met Robbie many years ago through my cousin Jayme and Kizzie and Amy it was so long ago but I remember he was always smiling joking and happy over time he went on all these awesome adventures and despite his health he always kept an amazing outlook and attitude. From the first time I met him I could tell he was most happy making other people laugh and being with his friends. He touched many lives and will never be forgotten.

I remember being at the hospital in FFX when Robbie was born. I was so happy for his parents when he was born. Bob came into the waiting room to tell us Robbie had arrived, was healthy, and Vicki was doing great! Bob was smiling so proudly. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone. Rest in peace Robbie.
