Very sorry to see this. My sincere condolences to his family. I was close friends with Ron’s sister, Laura. Ron and I corresponded after I had lost touch with Laura in the early 2000s. Ron kindly answered my letters. Again, my deepest sympathies. Though I had not seen Ron since Laura’s wedding, I had good memories of him and his kindness and responsible character

I am Ron’s cousin and 13 years his junior. I of course knew Ron growing up in Dorchester . Larry was 10 years older than me and Laura Ann and I were the same age. My mother and Laura were sisters and my sister Dorothy and I spent a fair amount of time at Laura and Bart’s on Westglow street, my mother helped Laura occasionally with her business. The last time I spoke to Ron was about 2010 when I was in Washington and called him to see if he was available for dinner but regrettably he wasn’t. My sister did visit Ron and his wife as I remember around 1980, and visited Laura Ann a few times over the years. I remember Ron as a very tall and very pleasant guy.
