Rosie May Soules Lake, 73, of Front Royal, VA passed away on Tuesday, Decemeber 22, 2015.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 26, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Lake was born March 23, 1942 in Alexandria, VA, daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie Kemp Soules.

She worked as cafeteria aide at Warren County Middle School.

She was the wife of the late Marshall W. Lake, Sr.

Surviving are two daughter Goldie May Lake Calvin and Tina Marie Lake; six grandchildren Crystal Wooddell, Megan Wooddell, Bevenie Lake, Brandy Lake, Laci Lake and Jesse Lake; and four great-grandchildren Haley Kelly, Ever Tittle, Marshall Morningstar, and Celeste Sackett. She was preceded in death by her son Marshall W. Lake, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Ernie Carpenter, Albert Owens, Jr., Marty Barker, Joe Lake, John Lake, and Glenn Wilkes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kathy Rosenberry, Marti Jenkins, Eva Barker, Sandy Eddy, and Dawn Ferris.
