Glo was a true friend to me for 46 years, and I will miss her dearly. She had a dignity and grace about her while, at the same time, a fun-loving, down-to-earth, and good-natured spirit. Her giggle was infectious. Glo had endured heartbreaking events in her life including the loss of both beautiful daughters, Celeste and Sharon, and her beloved husband, Thomas, whom everyone called Doc. In spite of these losses, her faith never wavered and she maintained a positive attitude about life. She loved people, she loved animals – and they loved her. During her marriage to Doc, she traveled the world with him when he was employed by HUD. Their home was filled with treasures they had collected along the way. Glo welcomed this Jersey Girl into her life and, for that, I will always be grateful. God bless you, my dear friend.
