The Hallwood Avenue neighborhood of the 1960s-70s was a great place in which to grow up. And if you were lucky enough to be there, you knew Mrs. Judd.
When High Point Pool came along, she was part of that as well.
Always pleasant, and always generous. The world is a little less, today.
Sincere, heartfelt love and condolences to Jan’s family at her loss. I have been so blessed with Peggy and her beautiful family in my life because of her. Her beauty and kindness clearly runs through her family. Love you all.
I am so sorry about the loss of your dear mother. I will fondly remember her smile, warm and welcoming Iowa voice and greeting, and her engaging demeanor. Her legacy lives on in my dear friend Peggy and her children Nicole and Racheal. She leaves many memories, smiles, and love. Here’s to Janet and her family!
my condolences to her family. Janet was a sweet lady who I enjoyed meeting and seeing during my time at WMH. She loved her family and was such a pleasure
It is with a heavy heart that I write this note. The community has lost a great lady! My heart goes out to her entire family whom she loved dearly. I met Jan twenty years ago at Second Chance when she was the Volunteer Coordinator and the last thing we did together was Silver Sneakers which we both enjoyed so much until the pandemic changed everything. She will be missed by many and her wonderful smile will never be forgotten. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
My condolences to Jan’s family, she gave to the community for many years. I worked with her years at “A Second Chance” and so appreciated her visits last year when we were so isolated and dealing with health issues. Jan rest in peace, you will be miss by all the friends you have made in Front Royal.
