Pastor Chuck LaMattina, 73, of Front Royal, Virginia and formerly of Lindenhurst, Illinois, fell asleep on Sunday, April 19, 2026 in his home. He is awaiting the resurrection by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Fellowship Church of God, 55 Westminster Drive, Front Royal. Inurnment will be private.

Chuck was born May 6, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Joesph Leonard and Rose Josephine Busacca LaMattina.

He was a pastor for 33 years at Grace Ministry in Chicago, Illinois and the present pastor for the last few years of Grace Fellowship Church of God.

Surviving is his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Marilee LaMattina; three sons, Joseph Charles LaMattina of Front Royal, Michael Paul LaMattina and wife Charlene of Front Royal, and David Anthony LaMattina of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Anthony LaMattina of North Ridgeville, Ohio; two sisters, Reneé Kocuba of Amherst, Ohio and JoAnn Petonic of North Ridgeville, Ohio; and two beloved grandchildren, Evelyn LaMattina and Caleb LaMattina.

His Lord said unto him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”  – Matthew 25:21-23.
