I just drove through Front Royal today returning from Pittsburgh to North Carolina and I thought of dropping in on Bob. I’m saddened to learn of his passing with your email. But, I’m lessed to know he’s teeing up on back nine with the Lord just about now. My condolences to his wife and family…Bob is, was a wonderful man and great mentor. I will miss him.
I am extremely saddened to hear this sad news. Mr. King was a kind and extremely helpful person, and has helped my business over several years. I pray that his souls rests in peace, and may all of you find the courage and strength to deal with your loss.
I was shocked and very saddened to learn of Bob’s passing. I knew Bob for over 50 years and always thought
that he was in good health. He was a good athlete. He played golf, tennis, squash and bowled. and excelled
in all.
We live in Florida and unfortunately will not be able to attend services.
Bob, you were always there for me. I knew anytime I needed advice I could call you. You will never know the love and respect I had for you. Thank you for being there for 40 years and helping me become a better person just by following your example.
My love and condolences to the family. My feeling of loss cannot come close to yours.
God Bless
So sad and very surprised to hear of Bob’s passing. I just talked to him a couple months ago and was going to give him a call this week. He was such a nice guy and a pleasure to work with. He has helped me so much through the years. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
Dear Susan and The King Family,
We are saddened by the news of Bobs passing. We pray for your family through this most mournful time.
Even as we’re shedding tears for your loss, we’re honored to remember one of the best people we’ve ever met!
Bob was always super kind and cordial to us. We respected his service to us with our income taxes. It hasn’t been the same since! Our sympathy to his family and all the lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
To Aunt Susie, Patty, Scott, Julie and the entire King family,
I have such great memories of Uncle Bob and each of you over the summers we spent back in the 70’s and 80’s. I will miss him. We wish you peace during this difficult time.
Love, David, Anni, Molly and Mitchell King. Houston, TX.
My Uncle Bob was a very kindhearted, gentle soul. I always felt special to him as I was his only niece for so long until later he had several great nieces. I will never forget the special times we had attending Redskins games at RFK Stadium, just me and him. I loved him deeply and will miss him so much.
My condolences go out to his family, particularly Aunt Susie and his children and grandchildren, brother and sister. May you rest in peace….miss you so much already.
My prayers, thoughts, and condolences go out to the entire King family. I first met Bob in 1985. He had his offices in the same building I had just moved into after starting my company. We hit it off right away and he became my accountant doing my business and personal taxes every year since 1985. He was instrumental in structuring my company’s finances and was always available when I needed him. We golfed together many times. I was just getting ready to call him for some advice when I learned of his passing. He was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be deeply missed.
Sue and Family.
So very sorry for your loss.
You are in my prayers
Susan, Patti, Julie, Scott, Aunt Betty,

We are saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. He was
a special friend of the Free family over many years.
He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are
with the King family.
I knew Bob nearly 30 years. First with him as my client, then with me as his client. He took care of me, my mother, and a large number of my clients. I knew I could always reach out to him with questions and he did likewise. I sincerely enjoyed the relationship over the years. Bob will certainly be missed. My prayers are with your family during this time.
I met Bob 35 years ago and right away I knew I had found a treasure. Every time I would call, he was always there. He helped and gave advice like no other. This is hard for me to write because I still can’t believe it. Lisa and I will love you forever.
We have only just now learned this devastating news. From the moment my wife came to Bob 30+ years ago in tears as a single woman carrying a shoe box full of receipts, overwhelmed with how to make sense of it all, Bob has been part of our lives. He rescued Suzanne then, he’s rescued us many times since. Once the IRS came after us for a big sum, by mistake. By the time Bob was finished with them, they paid us! More than his professional acumen, however, we remember his reassuring kindness, his solution-oriented approach, his wonderful voice, and his basic decency as a human being. Bob King will forever be a blessing in our memories.
