My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends. The picture selected here perfectly depicts the way that I remember him from my Virginia Savings Bank days – complete with contagious smile. Praying for peace and comfort for the family during this time.
Webb was such a terrific man — fellow VMI graduate and dear friend of my grandfather, Harold Smith. My Dad, John Major, was also a good friend of Webb’s — he also had a standing joke with Webb — Dad always called him “Jessie James”!
Webb was a GREAT man who never met a Stranger he will be missed by all that were Lucky enough to have known him

Webb was one of my father’s dearest friends. They shared a fondness for risqué jokes, Kentucky bourbon and a hole in the wall known as Mullins’ Tea Pot. If they’re together in Heaven right now, we can all be sure they’re enjoying each other’s company. May their good times live on.
So sorry for Webb’s passing. He was my first cousin–he was one of the older Davis cousins and I am the youngest one–I still live in Bowling Green. I have fond memories of Webb and wish that I had known that he had passed away–I would have attended the services.
